The principle
It is easy to change the bowl. It is harder — and far more useful — to understand the dog in front of it. Before anything changes, we watch: appetite, digestion, energy, mood, rest. Observation turns everyday care into evidence, and evidence turns good intentions into better decisions.
Our story
Pearl & Healer was founded in 2026 by Maneewan Joy Suwansaard, Ph.D. — a biotechnology researcher whose dogs turned a scientist's habits into a practice of everyday care. Blue, a Blue Heeler adopted in 2023, helped Joy reconnect with the world. Max, adopted in 2024, gave her a scientific puzzle she could not walk away from.
